HAWAN CEREMONY

A change of scene occurred at Aadharshila Vidyapeeth, Pitampura with the Hawan ceremony, organized in order to let the outgoing batch of class XII find its feet and face the test of time in life ahead. This special morning assembly was organized on January 31,2012. It was a moment of blessings and a rain of virtues for the students. Holy offerings were made in the Hawan fire and prayers were chanted.

Milange

Mélange Inter school fest 2011 – 2012

 Aadharshila Vidyapeeth pitampura organized a grand Interschool Fest –‘Melange’ in the school premises from January 28 to30, 2012. Most of the neighboring schools took part in it. The plethora of events began on January 28 with events like ‘Revival of the Bard’ where students could relive Shakespear’s characters through the Role Play.

"Poranik Charitra Nirvaha " from Ramayana was another venture where students gave vent their acting skills and talent. A brain storming session in ‘Q- GENIE’ - the Science Quiz turned out to be really very interesting .Students once again pondered about mathematics in life in the power point Presentation Competition ‘Mathematica’ An excellent synchronisation was the highlight of the Devotional Dance Competition –‘Synergy’.

‘As I see It’ was once again a platform for the students to voice their arguments about Social Media in a healthy way. The days long Inter School Fest culminated with mesmerizing and heart rendering

‘Sufiana’ song competition ‘Swaranjali’ which captured the true essence of divinity.

Overall the fest was the result of the concerted efforts of the staff and students alike and School Management and Principal appreciated them for the same.

On the spot Painting Competition & Fancy Dress Competition

Aadharshila Vidyapeeth, Pitampura organised an On the spot Painting Competition and a Fancy Dress Competition on the occasion of the 87^th  birthday of  Sh. Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji on Dec 25,2011 in the school premises. It was an opportunity for the budding painters & performers to exhibit their creativity & talents. School Director Ms. Preeti Goel, Corporator Sh. Harbans Lal Uppal Ji and Corporator Sh. Raj Kumar Poddar Ji were among the dignitaries. The Jury consisted of Ms. Vidyun Goel , Ms. Amrita Damani and Ms.Anshu Gupta. Winners were felicitated with prizes. The tiny artists put their best foot forward and expressed their creativity and concern.On- the-Spot Painting Competition witnessed some of the masterpieces of students’ skills with brush & paints.Participants of fancy Dress Competition were 4, 5 and 6 years of age and were really bubbling with zeal and enthusiasm.

Social Studies Exhibition

Resources – Not a Free Gift of Nature

In order to foster a new concern and understanding for the unique and the only resourceful planet – ‘Earth’, amongst students, Aadharshila Vidypeeth, Pitampura organized a ‘SOCIAL STUDIES EXHIBITION’ in the school premises from November 30 to December 3, 2011. It was an effort by the school to inculcate social concern and protective attitude for Earth in the young minds of the school. Students from classes III to X visited the exhibition with great interest. The Social Studies Lab of the school was tastefully ornamented with display of meaningful & interesting charts & models on the theme ‘Resources – Not a Free Gift of Nature’. The whole school was adorned with the hue of environmental concern as the display boards of the entire school exhibited the cycle of resources on earth very attractively. Students’ efforts were really commendable as they showcased the best of their talent with creative patterns and exhibits. Earth - a green planet outright in its initiation & then heading towards depletion of resources which affects our earth diversely and needs to be conserved with utmost attention,was the crux of the exhibition. Overall it was an enriching experience for teachers as well as students as they got to know about disaster management also.
